Broadway’s Adam Pascal (Rent, Aida, Something Rotten, Memphis) stars in Meredith Willson’s period piece about Professor Harold Hill, a flim-flam man who gets his foot caught in the door while selling band instruments to the unsuspecting populace of River City, Iowa in 1910. Willson’s 1957 musical features some of Broadway’s most enduring songs, including “Till There Was You,” “Seventy-Six Trombones,” and “Trouble.” This family-oriented show will have you laughing at Mayor Shinn’s mangled “phraseology” and crying at the famous footbridge scene. One of Broadway’s enduring classics.
