Love. Despair. Madness. Look past what I’ve told you, and what can you see?
What will you see? Can you see me? I know that you can hear me. I hear me too. Or at least,
I think it’s me I’m hearing. I certainly hope it’s me. After all, this is The King in Yellow,
and we’re in his court.
The King In Yellow, based on the work of Robert W. Chambers, is a modern adaptation of the infamous collection of macabre stories. Although it begins as a romantic mystery set in the early 1920’s, the story embraces many modern themes as it makes a statement about life as we know it.
To put it simply, it’s a show about a show we call life.
