Shakespeare’s “The Comedy Of Errors”

The production will be set modern-day, in the border town of Ephesus, Texas, on November 1, the Mexican “Day of the Dead” (the use of makeup suspending the audience’s disbelief at two sets of identical twins). Mariachi music will be a major element in the show. The script will be cut to move quickly, and words will be reworked as needed to facilitate understanding within the audience (hopefully, depending on the actors cast, some lines may even be translated into Spanish). This will be fun, raucous, loud.

Think of it as Tex-Mex Shakespeare.
