“Promises, Promises” is an uproarious musical comedy that features a book by Broadway legend Neil Simon and music by the 1970’s musical superstar Burt Bacharach. Set in New York City in the 1960s, “Promises, Promises” tells the story of accountant, Chuck Baxter, who lends out his apartment to co-workers who need a convenient place to “socialize.” Despite tragedy and intrigue, real romance prevails. Based on the screenplay from “The Apartment” by Billy Wilder and I.A.L. Diamond, this classic musical features the hit songs “Promises, Promises,” “I Say a Little Prayer” and the ever popular “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again.”
