Sixteen actors directed by Gai Laing Jones come together at the Ojai Art Center for “Mayhem in Mayville, a Whodunit.” The cast includes seasoned actors well-known to Ojai Art Center Theater patrons, some backstage staff members who stepped forward, and some folks new to the stage. For one night only the Ojai Art Center Gallery becomes Connie’s Cup’O Coffee Café. A supposed murder has been committed. An Inspector arrives to unravel the case. The city of Mayville has its own characters with intriguing relationships and complicated histories. Audience members take part in questioning of the characters. Gallery doors open at 6:50 pm. Requested donation is $5 per guest. No reservations needed. Gallery seating is limited.
