The Santa Paula Theater Center located at 125 So. 7th St on the corner of Main St. and 7th in beautiful downtown Santa Paula will present BECKY’S NEW CAR by STEVEN DIETZ opening August 25 and running through Oct. 1. Performances will be Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sunday Matinees at 2:30. Tickets are $24 for adults and Seniors and Students $22. Prolific American Playwright Steven Dietz brings a thoroughly original and insightful comic ride down “the road not taken”. Becky Foster is caught in middle age, middle management, and in a middling marriage with no prospects to change the horizon. Then, one night, a socially inept and grief stricken millionaire stumbles into the car dealership where Becky works and she is offered nothing short of new life. Ride shotgun with her on an hilariously wild trip that most plays wouldn’t dare to take.
