Ahrens and Flaherty comprise probably the greatest living scorewriting team on Broadway. Since 1988, their partnership has resulted in such triumphs of the Broadway stage as”Ragtime,” “Once On This Island,” “Seussical,” “Lucky Stiff,” and their most recent effort, “Rocky: The Musical,” which recently was a smash hit in Hamburg, Germany. Their next projects include “Little Dancer,” scheduled to premiere at the Kennedy Center in the fall of 2014, and a musical adaptation of the Fox animated film, “Anastasia.”
