The past catches up with a country gentleman at his wedding to orphan, Rose Maybud, when his brother, Sir Despard Murgatroyd, discovers brother Ruthven is not dead, but living in disguise as Robin Oakapple, to avoid the family curse. The famous baritone solo “When the Night Wind Howls” brings out the ghosties, but will Robin/Sir Ruthven give in to the curse and become the latest Bad Baronette of Ruddigore or will he be able to continue a life of country gentility with his lovely Rosebud?
