The December offering from the Art Center Theater Branch is “Miracle on 34th Street.” If you have seen the movie, you will remember it is a story about Kris, an old gentleman who really seems to believe he is Santa Claus. Doris Walker, a bitter divorced department store executive, wants to raise her young daughter to be free of such nonsense as Santa. Her neighbor Fred would like to get to know Doris a lot better, but isn’t having much luck. Doris is in charge of hiring the “Santa” for the Macy’s Christmas Parade. When the Santa she hires turns out to be a drunk, she hires Kris Kringle as a replacement. The problem is that the old man is crazy (or is he?)
