For well over a decade the MOORPARK MELODRAMA was a den of theatric inequity, home to heroes, damsels, and delightful villains. Loyal followers came from across Southern California to cheer, boo and hiss. Last year we reached back deep into the theater’s foundations to reprise all the slapstick, campy fun and present REX BRAVO – THE WHISTLING COWBOY AND THE SHOWDOWN AT THE BOMBAY CORAL. The show received and enthusiastic response.
This year Melodrama is back once again with THE SHAME OF TOMBSTONE. This outrageously funny yarn was first presented in Tombstone Arizona to celebrate the community’s 100th anniversary. It is packed with zany characters all trying to learn the moral lesson, “Crime doesn’t pay … or at least not as much as it used to.”
