This Dickensian musical extravaganza follows Estella Scrooge (Rebecca Ann Johnson), a young Wall Street tycoon and direct descendant of Ebenezer, who travels to Pickwick, Ohio on Christmas Eve to foreclose on The Harthouse Hotel, a haven for the lost, lonely and dispossessed. There she finds herself drawn to the attractive proprietor Philip Nickleby (Broadway star and Ventura native Andrew Samonsky), whom she knew as a child. Part love story, part ghost story, Little Miss Scrooge is a testament to Charles Dickens’ passionate belief in social reform and the overwhelming power of human kindness and generosity.
