The Tony Award winning, “Evita” tells the true story of Eva Peron and her magnificent transformation from child of the slums to the first lady of Argentina. Her passion for helping the poor endeared her to the people of Argentina while her ambition and fragile heath led to her downfall. Written by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Weber, the musical features the beautiful ballad, “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina.”
